BRIEF
Trellis is an ongoing UCL East program that connects university researchers with local east London communities through collaborative art projects. It fosters partnerships between artists and academics to create community-focused, socially impactful artwork that reflects local stories, challenges, and cultures, enhancing engagement between UCL and the surrounding areas.

They wanted a more organised and cohesive brand identity for their exhibition that was gonna be hosted at Hoxton Hall. The main deliverables they wanted were posters to promote their exhibition.
APPROACH
I collaborated with the creative agency, Pocko to design the Trellis visual identity, produce a full package by delivering the visual content for various channels, including social media, marketing materials (web banners, email invitations), and print (billboards, posters, booklets, etc).
OUTCOMES
Word-Mark
I redesigned their current wordmark into a more simplified format in order for it to translate well on various design assets.

Posters
Trellis 4 brought together six "artist x researcher" groups to collaborate on a dynamic exhibition. The main challenge was transforming complex theoretical concepts into visually engaging works that could resonate with a diverse audience of the local community as well as academics and students.
Additionally, the program aimed to foster a cohesive identity for the exhibition while embracing the differences of each individual artist x researcher group’s unique perspectives and contributions, hence 6 posters to represent the 6 groups, plus 1 big poster to encompass all 6 groups.
Social Media Assets (Motion Grpahics)
I animated intro gifs to be used on social media to introduce the artists and researcher team.
